You are just minutes from some of the best mountain, or leisure, biking around, white water rafting, rock climbing, hiking, canoeing, golf, or take a ride on America's favorite scenic byway, the Blue Ridge Parkway.

On street metered parking is FREE Saturday 6PM-Monday 8AM, and all city holidays; New Year's Day, Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, Good Friday, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Friday after Thanksgiving, and Christmas (3 days). "Special Event" parking may be imposed by the city, single occurrence: $7; Multi-day event: $5, for a garage due to a function.
