This newly renovated, beautiful home, aptly named for the owl who nests in the woods on the property, provides privacy, luxury, convenience and serenity. It is a wonderful location for a getaway full of fun and relaxation for families, couples or friends.
Owls Nest is set in the desirable Cane Creek Valley on 3 beautifully wooded acres in a highly sought after private community. This home boasts; 4 king bedrooms, 3 on the main level with the 4th private bedroom on the second floor and 4.5 baths. Each bedroom has its own private bath. All showers are walk in with the master bathroom also offering a tub, and all bedroom windows have cellular shades.
The kitchen is equipped for cooking gourmet meals (or not) and a gas grill (hooked into the house gas supply). The living room has comfortable seating with a wood burning fireplace (wood and starters provided) and TV to watch the big game, a movie or relax together. The outside areas have ample porch seating to take in the scenery, hot tub, and a fire pit. There is a detached game room that has a pool table, ping pong, corn hole, flat panel TV, seating area and half bath.
Owls Nest is located; 15 miles/20 minutes to the center of downtown Asheville, 7 miles/10 minutes to groceries and gas, 13 miles/25 minutes to the gates of The Biltmore Estate, 17 miles/25 minutes to Omni Grove Park Inn, 18 miles/28 minutes to UNC Asheville, 26 miles/17 minutes to Warren Wilson College, 7 miles/15 minutes to Asheville Regional Airport, 70 miles/ 1 hour 10 min. to Greenville-Spartanburg International Airport, 111 miles/2 hours 20 minutes to Charlotte Douglas International Airport.

Cancellation Policy
All cancellations made more than 60 days prior to occupancy will forfeit 50% of the nightly rental fee, plus the processing charge (2.95%). All cancellations made less than 60 days prior to the occupancy date will forfeit 100% of the nightly rental fee paid, plus the processing charge (2.95%). Any payment toward Cleaning Fee, Accidental Rental Damage Insurance Fee (ARDI), Facility Fee, will be refunded. Guest will be entitled to a refund less the cancellation fee, 25% of total nightly rental fee paid to date, if the property is re-rented for the same term (number of days), or portion there of, and at the same rate as contracted by the guest. AVL Property Management will make a diligent effort to re-rent the property. If balance due/final payment is not received by the due date as presented in the rental agreement, your reservation will be treated as cancelled and your deposit will be forfeited unless we can re-rent the property as indicated above. If a guest is disappointed or unsatisfied with the property due to differences in taste according to decor, accommodations, location, construction, mountain road conditions, etc. and declines to stay at the property, this will be considered a cancellation and no rent reduction or refund will be issued. All cancellations by guest must be made in writing/e-mail to Beth@AVLVR.com.

Deposit Policy:
50% deposit is required to secure reservation when outside the 60 day window of desired check-in date. Full payment required to secure reservation if made within 60 day window of desired check-in date. Reservations are not confirmed until the initial deposit, or full payment whichever applies, is secured by AVL.

"Perfect familiy getaway"
Impeccably clean! The owners have thought of everything. The fully stocked kitchen provided everything we needed and more to prepare meals. We actually cancelled dinner reservations to cook in. Comfortable king beds. Everyone had their own bathroom. We got lucky with warm temps and were able to enjoy the screened in porch. Kids spent hours in the game room, and we enjoyed the hot tub. Owners even provide wood for the fireplace and fire pit! Proximity to Asheville and hiking was perfect! We highly recommend and will be returning!!
