The Lodge at Fox Hollow is 10 minutes north of Downtown Asheville, 15 minutes to Biltmore Estate, 10 minutes to UNC Asheville, 30 minutes to Asheville Regional Airport, 10 minutes to an entrance to the Blue Ridge Parkway, 2 hours from Charlotte Douglas International, and minutes from all the culture and outdoor activities Asheville and the surrounding area have to offer.

Due to the “high style” of this home it is not recommended for young inquisitive children. The owners have decorated The Lodge at Fox Hollow to provide their guests with a unique experience, and altering it would detract from the experience.

This warm and welcoming home beckons you to come in and put your feet up. Relax in the comfortable furnishings, chosen by the owner for your enjoyment.

Enter into the foyer of this 4,500 sq. ft. square log home, with large living room to your right; floor to ceiling natural stone wood burning fireplace, hard wood floors with area rugs, large flat panel TV discretely hidden behind custom cabinetry, and several conversation areas. Featured on the stone wall above the fireplace mantle, is the image for which the home is named. To your left is the hand crafted artisan wood handrail leading you to the lower level, or walk straight through to the back hall with benches, hooks and cubbies, to drop your things and settle in for a real treat!

The kitchen is where all will gather to prepare and share a meal. Open to the living area on both ends, the large french antique parquet wood farm table allows comfortable seating for 12 plus guests, with 4 stools around the island. The AGA stove sits in a stone arch, which backs up to the stone fireplace in the living room. From the large Sub-Zero refrigerator, to the "coffee station", there isn't anything this owner hasn't thought of to make your stay more enjoyable.

Each of the 4 bedrooms, and bunk room, have been decorated in warm tones, with linens so comfortable that you'll have a hard time pulling yourself out of bed in the morning. Each bedroom, and the bunk room, has a flat panel TV, also neatly hidden within custom made cabinets, and each room has plenty of closet space.

The furnished screened in porch, just through the French in-swing doors off the kitchen, is like sitting in a tree house! With gas grill, and yes - another flat panel TV - the living area is extended to the outdoors. OR, choose to gather in the adjoining screened in porch on the far side of the house, and get cozy in front of the wood burning fireplace. There is plenty of room for all to find their own quiet place, if need be.

The privacy afforded by this home is only enhanced by its proximity to all major conveniences.

As this home is located in a small private quiet mountain community, the owners do not permit events/parties of any type, or size, to be held at their home. There is parking for a maximum of 6 cars. On street parking is prohibited and strictly enforced.

Cancellation Policy
All cancellations made more than 60 days prior to occupancy will forfeit 50% of the nightly rental fee paid, plus the processing charge (2.95%). All cancellations made less than 60 days prior to the occupancy date will forfeit 100% of the nightly rental fee paid, plus the processing charge (2.95%). Any payment toward Cleaning Fee, Accidental Rental Damage Insurance Fee (ARDI), Facility Fee, will be refunded. Guest will be entitled to a refund less the cancellation fee, 25% of total nightly rental fee paid to date, if the property is re-rented for the same term (number of days), or portion there of, and at the same rate as contracted by the guest. AVL Property Management will make a diligent effort to re-rent the property. If balance due/final payment is not received by the due date as presented in the rental agreement, your reservation will be treated as cancelled and your deposit will be forfeited unless we can re-rent the property as indicated above. If a guest is disappointed or unsatisfied with the property due to differences in taste according to decor, accommodations, location, construction, mountain road conditions, etc. and declines to stay at the property, this will be considered a cancellation and no rent reduction or refund will be issued. All cancellations by guest must be made in writing/e-mail to Beth@AVLVR.com.

50% deposit is required to secure reservation when outside the 60 day window of desired check-in date. Full payment required to secure reservation if made within 60 day window of desired check-in date. Reservations are not confirmed until the initial deposit, or full payment whichever applies, is secured by AVL.
