Stunning true log home located on 16 acres in a private community at 2,800 ft. elevation, 20 minutes south east of downtown Asheville, 20 minutes to Biltmore Estate, 25 minutes to Asheville Regional Airport, 10 minutes to an entrance to the Blue Ridge Parkway, 10 minutes to South Asheville groceries, gas, eateries.

Enjoy sunrise each morning in this 5,000 square foot home with soaring ceilings, 4 spacious comfortable bedrooms; 2 king bedrooms each with private en-suite bath (main level and lower level), 2 queen bedrooms share en-suite jack and jill bath (second level), 2 half baths (main level). Large great room with floor to ceiling stone gas fireplace, comfortable seating for all, dining room, fully outfitted gourmet kitchen; granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, large 2 door refrigerator, gas cooktop with griddle, commercial style range hood with warming shelf, wall oven and microwave, warming drawer, dishwasher, large pantry and loads of storage.

Lower level with additional kitchenette; refrigerator, Keurig, microwave, flat panel TV, stone floor to ceiling gas fireplace.

Back deck with east/sunrise view runs entire width of the home with chase lounges, gas fire pit, and dining area. The deck continues on side of home with screened in area off the kitchen, gas grill hooked in to the house supply, flat panel TV, and comfortable seating for all!

Relax in the sauna after along day of exploring, or ping pong!

We had a wonderful stay in this gorgeous home. Views were spectacular and the home is so tastefully decorated. Loved the screened in porch and TV outside was super nice feature. Kitchen was gorgeous and had all we could ever need. Ping pong table was so fun and ended up in daily tournaments. Sauna was a nice treat also. Surrounding woods great for exploring with the kids. Easy trip to downtown Ashville and central to outdoor activities for whitewater rafting and horseback riding. LOVED IT ALL!!!

We absolutely loved East End. The cabin was just as described, very clean, and the management company was amazing. The view from the cabin was breathtaking! The location was perfect as it was only 15 minutes from a market and 20 minutes from downtown. Thank you for sharing your cabin with us. As a former Owner of a rental property I truley appreciate all the little things the Property Manager & Owners have done to make this home such a magnificent place to stay. The pictures in the ad do not do justice to the dimensions of the house. Every room is perfectly appointed and there is plenty of room for everyone to have both family activities and personal privacy. We were overwhelmed with the details. From the fireplace to the wonderful screened porch / grilling area the ability to relax and enjoy the surroundings was perfect.

East View is a fantastic property to rent with family or friends. We rented the house over Christmas. Upon entering the driveway we noticed thoughtful holiday pillows and trees outside and it continued on the inside. They even had a big tree up which was great for our nieces who came up from FL and were worried Santa wouldn't find them. The house was outfitted with everything you could need so you could just focus on having a great time. It really does feel like a home. The road up was long, windy and essentially one way but once you get to the house you feel like you are on top of the mountain, which after you see the views you realize you are! And there are several grocery stores located not far from the house which made the shopping much easier. Having been to Asheville several times we knew there was much to do but all we wanted to do was hang out at this cabin. We would rent again, thanks!

The house is immaculately maintained and very clean. The kitchen is extremely well-supplied for a rental. Cooking and serving Thanksgiving dinner was easy. Beds are comfortable, lots of extra pillows, blankets, and quilts laying around for the sitting areas. All in all a very easy, comfortable rental.

Absolutely stunning! The accommodations were spectacular. Plenty of space for me and my 7 girlfriends. From the home to the furnishes every thing was over the top. The view from the deck was beautiful. It was awesome sitting around the fire pit sipping our cocktails reminising over old time. You will not be disappointed with this property!

Our 20th anual high school girls trip was a success in this beautiful mountain home! Everything was just perfect! Size and the amenities we’re outstanding! Couldn’t have asked for more. This weekend was our 30th Wedding Anniversary and our sons joined us to celebrate. We absolutely loved this home and it exceeded our every expectation. The view, furnishings, ambiance, flow and comfortableness of the beds were incredible. We only wished we could have stayed longer to enjoy the outside fire and porch. AVL was very accommodating to our needs and we will stay there again. I have already recommended the house to my friends!

This house far exceeded our expectations for our long weekend with friends in Asheville! The setting is gorgeous; the views are of mountains and forest with no other structures anywhere in sight. Construction details of the house are all top notch, as are the amenities provided. Staff stayed in touch with us before and during our stay to make sure we had every question answered and every need met. Everything was squeaky clean on our arrival, and ready to be enjoyed. The property gets two enthusiastic thumbs up!

We travel to Asheville relatively often and are always sorry to have to leave; it is a wonderful town. Leave plenty of time to get downtown for dinner if you're traveling at rush hour, as the roads can fill up. Our top two dinner recommendations would be Cucina 24 and Curate (modern Italian and Spanish Tapas, respectively); plan ahead as reservations in advance are generally a must. If you arrive in town early, there is a very active ambiance to be enjoyed just strolling around, with plenty of street musicians and artists worth spending time watching. The East View property then offers a quiet balance when tranquility is more on your mind; the deck is fabulous for gathering around the firepit or for enjoying an outdoor dinner. We will definitely be back!

What an amazing home to share! Family from North Carolina and Scotland stayed here for four days. We had an absolutely blast spending time together in this beautiful home. It is well appointed with activities for everyone. The pin-pong table is not something you find everywhere and it was a hit with our family. We hope to stay again in the future and create even more memories.

Fantastic!!!! This house is everything you see and more. It was warm and comfy and so clean and just beautiful. We were 3 families and we all had our own level in the house for sleeping quarters. The fire pit was a great place to hang out at night and the kitchen and BBQ were perfect for our nightly meals complete with great cookware. We will definitely stay at this property again!!!

Beautiful view of the mountains! This log home is absolutely gorgeous inside and out! The entire property was very clean and well-kept. Bed was comfortable, fire pit was amazing, and screened in porch was awesome. Oh... and the blueberries we picked off the property... YUM!!! We will absolutely be back again!!! Thank you!

East View is one of the most outstanding properties that we have had the pleasure to stay at. Our stay started when we drove up to the beautiful exterior and continued into the stunning interior. Even the smallest details are taken care of in this lovely home. But the real thrill is the view from the all glass great room. We enjoyed our time in the house, on the deck (especially using the fire pit) and even swinging in the swings. This will definitely become the place to stay that we will always consider first when we return to Asheville!

Cancellation Policy
All cancellations made more than 60 days prior to occupancy will forfeit 50% of the nightly rental fee, plus the processing charge (2.95%). All cancellations made less than 60 days prior to the occupancy date will forfeit 100% of the nightly rental fee paid, plus the processing charge (2.95%). Any payment toward Cleaning Fee, Accidental Rental Damage Insurance Fee (ARDI), Facility Fee, will be refunded. Guest will be entitled to a refund less the cancellation fee, 25% of total nightly rental fee paid to date, if the property is re-rented for the same term (number of days), or portion there of, and at the same rate as contracted by the guest. AVL Property Management will make a diligent effort to re-rent the property. If balance due/final payment is not received by the due date as presented in the rental agreement, your reservation will be treated as cancelled and your deposit will be forfeited unless we can re-rent the property as indicated above. If a guest is disappointed or unsatisfied with the property due to differences in taste according to decor, accommodations, location, construction, mountain road conditions, etc. and declines to stay at the property, this will be considered a cancellation and no rent reduction or refund will be issued. All cancellations by guest must be made in writing/e-mail to Beth@AVLVR.com.
