This home is fabulous! It is so beautiful and filled with incredible art and every amenity. It is warm, welcoming and comfortable throughout. Our Friends group of 4 couples loved Asheville and the restaurants and golf, but to be honest, just relaxing in this home was the most fun of all! I've wanted to go for a while and now, I'm thrilled we got to enjoy it!

Our group of 8 spent most of our waking hours hanging out in the fabulous screened-in pavilion. Besides the large table, fireplace and TV, there was plenty of comfortable lounging chairs, rockers and sofa. When it got cool in the evening, there were the gas heaters and comfy throws. We saw several wild turkeys and a black bear nearby. The long, shared driveway is paved, but a bit narrow, steep and twisty.

This property is gorgeous! It is beautifully decorated and the owners thought of everything. We had a small issue with the connectivity of the tv, but the property managers and owner had it fixed very quickly. The property has four king bedrooms, each with its own bathroom. It was perfect for our group. The weather was great and we hung out a lot on the screened in porch. The fireplace, heaters and blankets were perfect for that. Thanks for a terrific vacation stay!!

Can’t even begin to describe how wonderful this house was! Then home a week and miss it so much already! We saw a mama bear and three cubs playing in the backyard, enjoyed a beautiful fire in the enormous screened in porch, while the rain fell peacefully around us, slept in the most comfortable beds, and enjoyed the most elegant bathrooms! The kitchen was stocked to perfection, including a full pantry of basic necessities. Cozy blankets all around the house! Can’t wait to go back! Been telling all our friends!

Our group of three couples had a WONDERFUL time spending a week at "The Barn at Fox Hollow"! The home is just amazingly gorgeous. It is furnished and decorated in such a way that the house feels luxurious, comfortable, cozy, open, light, airy, and country chic all at the same time. While it is hard to choose, the outside spaces were a solid favorite with our group. We enjoyed meals, game nights, and morning coffee on either of the two porches almost every day. It was the best! Also, the kitchen is AMAZING! The property manager is helpful and very reaponsive. We called with an issue and we were answered immediately, someone was over to the house in a few hours, and we had communication every step of the way as they worked to resolve it. And that was on top of the easy communication at booking and before check in... AND someone calling to check and make sure we were enjoying the house the first two days. We felt very taken care of! I highly recommend this house to a group of friends or family with no young kids looking for an absolutely luxurious place to vacation without the luxury feeling stuffy or pretentious. And of course the house is close to downtown Asheville, and an easy drive from so many places nearby!

"July 17-24 at The Barn at Fox Hollow"

The home is spectacular, so comfortable and beautifully decorated. We met Anders the first day and he could not haven more gracious and helpful. As a group of 70-year-olds, we could make a few suggestions to make it safer for our kind (!), but that would be nitpicking. Our only “complaint” would be that we weren’t made aware of the limited parking—no one saw it mentioned in the online description of the property— until a week before our trip. If it IS mentioned, I apologize. There were a total of 8 of us coming, all from different parts of the state and we had to juggle parking. Also where “the 4th car” was to be parked on Orchard Ridge was not clearly explained or marked. Otherwise, we had a fabulous time. The highlight for me was — leaving on Sun. the 24th — I finally saw a black bear lumbering across Orchard Ridge Road just before Lynn Cove. Perfect ending! Host’s response: We're so pleased you all enjoyed your stay at this magnificent home! In our effort to be forthcoming with all the information our guests need to plan, details regarding parking are, in fact, outlined in the first paragraph of the listing: There is parking for a maximum of 4 cars; 3 in the driveway, with 1 vehicle parked on a separate parking pad above the home. On street parking is prohibited. This is, as was explained in several pre arrival conversations, due to the terrain. We're sorry you missed it, but we do understand how anyone could be distracted by the on line images of this "spectacular" home.

Our family spent a week enjoying The Barn @ Fox Hollow over Memorial Day. Beautiful property and accommodations were first class! The kitchen is huge and the two screened porches are so relaxing. We saw several wild turkeys and a male black bear in the yard! Hiking trails nearby were fun and the places we visited in Asheville are only a short 20 minute drive from this secluded retreat. Sitting in the pavilion and looking out at the woods or gazing into the fire was totally relaxing. The details that the owners put in to this property are outstanding! We hated to leave.

The house was fantastic! The Barn at Fox Hollow furnishings and amenities were top of the line. It was so well equipped that we wanted for nothing. We were there for a combo 60th birthday party and friends get together and everybody loved the house. House location was close enough to Asheville to be convenient but far enough away that it was very quiet and peaceful. We enjoyed the great porches and spent most of our time there and cooking in the large well equipped kitchen. We were lucky enough to see a mother bear and 4 cubs, numerous turkeys and chipmunks. Beth and everyone at AVL Property managers were very helpful and accommodating! Thank you and we will be back!

This property is an exceptional place to stay. The amenities abounded and hosts provided a beautiful surrounding . We especially liked the furnishings which all had historical significance to them There was plenty of room to stretch out and relax with various sitting areas. "All's well that ends well!"

Beautiful, comfortable, scenic, private and spotlessly clean property. Perfect for four adult couples with four king bedrooms and each with an en-suite bath. Screened pavilion was wonderful for cocktails and for relaxing in front of the fire. Couldn't have asked for a better spot for an adult family getaway. Very thoughtfully stocked, from dishware to paper goods to firewood; all the necessities were there. Only downside was our arrival: we were greeted with a huge, smelly truck pumping out the septic tank, after 4:00PM check-in. The key code given us by property management was incorrect, so we could not get into the property. Fortunately, the owner was on site and had the correct code to let us in. Not exactly how we had expected to begin our stay. However after a rough start, everything was perfect.

We strive to ensure every guests stay is flawless and 5 star worthy, and pride ourselves on communication, so we regret that we are just learning about your issues. We apologize for the administrative error regarding access to the home and are looking in to how that was communicated, but are thankful the owner was there to assist you with entry when you arrived at 3PM. Had he not been, a quick phone call to our office with the number provided would have quickly remedied the situation. Our post arrival “Welcome" call was met with no answer, and with no voicemail set up we were unable to leave a message. However, we did speak with someone in your party during your stay with no mention of your initial experience upon arrival. Had we known we would have addressed this immediately. We do our best to schedule all maintenance when our homes are unoccupied, hence our inability to accommodate your early check in request made over 2 weeks prior to your arrival. Follow up indicates the septic truck was off premises at 4:05PM, five minutes after your scheduled arrival time, and we regret that this caused displeasure. Despite initial misgivings, we are very happy that your family enjoyed a perfect getaway.

I met my best college girlfriends at this amazing property, and we were in awe when we arrived. The magnificent barn is even more beautiful than the pictures show. It is meticulously clean, and the interior is exquisite. It is so well-decorated, and all of the little touches make you feel like you are at a bed and breakfast: a kitchen stocked with snacks, a fully loaded coffee bar, and fluffy white towels, soaps, and bath salts in the bathrooms--the owners did not miss a detail! The screened in porch was our favorite place to spend our time together. The wood-burning fireplace was stocked with wood, the space heaters were filled with propane, and we snuggled up each night to play games and watch TV while surrounded by the serene outdoor setting. We can't wait to go back next year; I have never been to a vrbo so well managed and maintained!

Four spacious bedrooms each with a very nice full bathroom, a large wonderfully equipped kitchen/eating area and a large,separate screened in room next to the main barn with a giant TV, comfortable seating and tables to play games on made this location ideal for a group with four adult couples. The way it was decorated with every attention to detail would have made HGTV proud. Hopefully we can hold our reunion there again next year!

This property is nothing short of amazing. My family of four stayed here to social distance, but with a change of scenery, and this did not disappoint. The Farm is cozy and inviting! Everyone in my family slept the best they have in ages. It is close to Asheville so quick runs to the grocery store or other needs are easily accessible. We can not wait to return!

We had a siblings/spouses retreat while we were all in the Asheville area. The Barn at Fox Hollow served as a perfect setting for our family gathering. Loads of space to spread out or to be together. Absolutely gorgeous!

Superb in every way. Luxuriously decorated with fine attention to detail and ever so comfortable. 4 bedrooms with en-suite baths all to the highest standard. Well appointed gourmet kitchen and unique outdoor spaces. Like walking into a Ralph Lauren Home movie set but with a cozy ambiance. We will be back!

"This is a winner!"

The almost didn't rate this property with 5 stars in the "Accuracy of online listing" category was because the property is actually better than the photos depict. The 2 screened in porch rooms are fabulous! The furnishings are beyond what I would ever expect in a rental property. We used the fireplace and heaters on one of the porches, ate dinner out there and watched a movie on the enormous tv! I would definitely plan to eat in at least one night as the space is so fun to eat in. The kitchen is very well equipped and fun to cook in with the commercial grade stove. The beds were very comfortable and the sheets were high quality so it was deluxe living. We were there with one other couple and a single friend. The house could very comfortably house 4 couples or a couple of families. There is Lots of space. I honestly can't say enough about this beautiful property.

"The Barn"

We had a great time at the Barn. One caution is that for those of you with mobility problems - I have artificial knees- the outside steps down to the house are steep and can be slippery and main floor is also on the lower level which requires going down a flight of stairs. There are also numerous rugs thought the space that have no slip proof pads underneath. We had to roll some of the rugs up because we were tripping on them. Overall, the location was great and very accessible to Asheville.

"Amazing house, can't wait to come back!"

We spent Labor Day weekend at this property and quite honestly, we are already trying to think of reasons to come back and stay again. There were six of us staying in the house and the house provided everything we could want/need for a great stay. The little things make a big difference when you stay here - there are more than enough bath towels, all the bedrooms have very comfortable king-sized beds, the bathrooms are immaculate, and there are throw blankets in all the rooms of the house for when you just want to hang out and be cozy with your family. The outdoor pavilion is outstanding and we wanted to spend all our time out there in the evenings, listening to the sounds in the woods and enjoying football on the big screen tv. Downtown Asheville is a quick 10-minute drive from the house. Overall, we loved our stay!

This is an absolutely lovely property and home. It is even lovelier (and more “well-appointed”) than the photos depict. Just a short (no more than a 15-minute drive) to downtown Asheville, it was an ideal location for our girls’ getaway ... the peace and quiet of a mountain/ woodland setting in close proximity to everything Asheville.

This house was like no other we have ever stayed at. Absolutely wonderful. Couple of things need to be addressed. The lock on the front door needs to be replaced. Very hard to engage the lock. The lighting in the house is very dim. It is hard to cook in the kitchen and play games at the table with such low lighting.Outlets in upstairs bathrooms side of he sinks don’t work. Having rented many vacation homes over the years, the Barn at Fox Hollow was, by far, the absolute best. It was immaculate (and I am OCD about this!), beautifully decorated, peaceful, and in the perfect location (we used Lyft to drive us all 6 of us to downtown Asheville for only $20!). We had many spaces to be together or spend quiet time alone. Every detail has been considered and there is not a thing we were missing. We hired a personal chef to prepare us dinner one night and she was pleased with the kitchen. We hope to return on a regular basis!

From the moment we walked through the front door everything was immaculate. We have stayed in a lot of nice properties, however the Barn at Foxhollow was one of the nicest, most well kept and beautifully decorated homes we have ever stayed in. We loved the home. The outdoor living space was incredible and we loved how secluded the home felt, yet still close to everything. The rental company was excellent to work with and provided everything that we needed to know before we arrived. We will definitely be back.

Our family spent Memorial Day weekend at the Barn and it truly lived up to its expectations! Usually on line photos are better than the real thing but that's not the case with this property. We had our adult children and partners and we loved how everyone had their own space and privacy. The owners have thought of everything! Being nestled in the woods with two beautiful porches to choose from was exactly what we wanted. The management team was also quite accessible during the planning process and gave excellent suggestions for restaurants etc. Although it's an easy 10 min drive to the Main Street of Asheville, you feel like you're in a remote location.....all you hear are the rustling leaves and the babbling brook. This property is truly a five star plus!

We completed our 3 night stay with 2 other couples last week. It was a special occasion and we truly had a special place to celebrate and enjoy friendships. We loved the décor and great kitchen ( we cooked in twice). The enclosed porch was like being in a tree house and was put to great use. We plan to return to The Barn.

Just finished a four day stay with my three siblings and our spouses. We all loved the home and it's mountain/woodland setting! Saw turkeys and a bear our first evening. It was wonderful to have four bedrooms, all with ensuite baths. The kitchen was great and the grocery store was just ten minutes away. So, we ended up cancelling dinner reservations out because we could relax and talk more at the house. We spent A LOT of time on the outside covered patio and the screen porch! p.s. We were able to park four cars (but it does box in those who park first).

The Barn at Fox Hollow was amazing! We had a couples getaway weekend and everyone was thoroughly impressed with the style, cleanliness, and overall amenities of this property. We have stayed at many VRBO properties over the last 10 years, and The Barn was by far the nicest and most luxurious. The location is great with plenty of seclusion in the woods but only about 10 minutes to downtown Asheville. We would love to stay here again in the future and the customer service was wonderful. We were absolutely blown away by how awesome this property was. We went to Asheville with two other couples (total of 6 people) and had a phenomenal time. The Barn was breathtakingly beautiful - immaculately clean and decorated like it was right out of a magazine. The kitchen had everything needed to cook - we made two meals there. The location of Barn is about 10 minutes from Asheville, so it was super convenient. We felt that we had the perfect combination of outdoor/mountain living with the convenience of Asheville (shopping, bars, restaurants, etc.) right up the road. I would most definitely recommend this property to anyone looking to stay in a gorgeous, clean and spacious home!!! If I could give the property 10 stars - I would!

I was fortunate enough to stay at The Barn for the Holidays with family and friends. The Barn is absolutely awesome. Other than not having a Fire Place it truly is a great property and very conveniently located to town.
